Claire is a self-taught fine artist specializing in graphite realism. Her focus is wildlife. She started drawing in 2021 and loves the challenge of translating complex textures and details from reality to paper using graphite pencil.
Claire has had the privilege of growing up in South Africa and spent her childhood immersed in the African bush, acquiring an appreciation and love for animals and nature.
She spends her free time outdoors exploring nature and photographing potential references for her drawings. Claire is passionate about wildlife and hopes to create an awareness of and showcase the amazing wildlife South Africa has to offer.
